The recruiter writing your CV.

Project and program managers. Business analysts. Change, PMO and governance roles. Technical people working alongside them: architects, developers, testers and cloud engineers.

I've recruited across government and commercial delivery environments, from small public-sector offices to multinational programs. The work spans business cases, discovery, implementation and go-live.

That context matters. A BA brought in to build the business case has a different story from one brought in to get the system delivered. Your CV needs to make that distinction clear.

I kept seeing strong operators whose CVs made their experience difficult to assess.

The work was there. The scope, ownership and outcomes were harder to find. A hiring manager had to fill in the gaps – or move on.

Agency recruitment pays on placement. Every CV I put forward carried my income with it. I needed to understand the work well enough to explain why that person belonged on the shortlist.

That's the thinking behind targetState: ask the right questions, find the evidence and make the case clear.

I take your call, write your CV and handle your revisions.

We talk through what you were brought in to do, what you owned, who you worked with and what changed. If the roles you're chasing stretch beyond the experience on the page, we talk about that too.

Then I write. You challenge anything that doesn't accurately represent your work, and we refine it together.
