We build your CV for specific roles – the ones we scope together on your call. If it isn't landing interviews for those roles within 45 days, we rewrite it from scratch. On us.

The promise

If you don't receive an interview within 45 days of receiving your final CV – while actively applying for the roles it was built for – we'll rewrite it completely at no extra cost. New positioning, built again. Not a polish.

And because we work with contractors, "interview" means what it actually means in contracting: an interview or screening call with an employer, or with a recruiter about a specific role you've applied for. The recruiter screen is usually the gate – it counts.

You're covered when

  • You've been actively applying for the role types we scoped on your call – the ones the CV was built to win
  • You meet the core requirements of those roles
  • You're using the CV as we delivered it – tailoring it lightly for individual applications is fine and sensible; a structural rewrite isn't

The guarantee doesn't apply if

  • You're applying for different role types than the CV was built for
  • You've changed direction since our call
  • You're targeting roles well beyond your experience level
  • You don't meet the core requirements of the roles you're applying for
  • You've substantially rewritten the CV from the version we delivered

What the rewrite includes

  • A fresh look at the roles you've been applying for, and your CV against them
  • A complete rewrite with new positioning – built again, not patched
  • An honest read on anything else that might be getting in the way

How to claim it

  1. After day 45, email hello@targetstateresumes.com.au with the subject "45-day guarantee".
  2. Include the last three roles you applied for with the CV – role title, company or agency, a link to the posting if you have one, and the date you applied.
  3. We review the roles against your CV and how you've been applying.
  4. If you're covered, the rewrite begins within 5 business days. If something outside the CV is holding you back, we tell you exactly what – and give you specific guidance to improve your approach.

The details

  • The 45 days run from the day we deliver your final CV – the last version after any revisions.
  • One rewrite per CV purchased.
  • The remedy under this guarantee is the rewrite – it doesn't operate as a refund. Our refund position is in our Terms of Service.
  • This guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, not instead of them.
