The 45-day interview guarantee
If you actively apply for the roles we agree on and receive no qualifying interview or recruiter screening call within 45 days of receiving your final CV, I'll rewrite it once at no extra cost.
This guarantee covers one complete rewrite, not a refund. The conditions are below.
When the 45 days start
The clock starts on the day I deliver your final CV – the last version after any revisions.
Payment and the consultation call do not start the guarantee period.
The separate 14-day revision period starts when I deliver your first draft.
What counts as an interview
Either of these counts:
- An employer interview or screening call for a role your CV was built for.
- A recruiter screening or shortlisting call about a specific role you applied for, within the role types we agreed on.
A general recruiter check-in with no specific application being discussed does not count.
One qualifying interview or screening call within the 45 days satisfies the guarantee. A job offer is not required.
When you're covered
All four conditions need to apply:
- You're actively applying. The CV needs to be going out to relevant roles.
- You're targeting the role types we agreed on during our call. A different career direction or role type is a new brief.
- You meet the core requirements of those roles. The guarantee doesn't cover applications for roles well beyond your experience level.
- You're using the CV I delivered. Light tailoring for individual applications is fine. Substantially rewriting or restructuring it yourself falls outside the guarantee.
What the rewrite includes
I'll review your CV against the roles you've applied for, reconsider the positioning and rewrite the document from scratch.
I'll also flag anything I can see in your targeting or application approach that needs attention.
The guarantee covers one rewrite per CV purchased, at no extra cost.
How to claim
After the 45-day period, email hello@targetstateresumes.com.au and ask to claim the guarantee.
Suggested subject: "45-day guarantee".
Include the last three roles you applied for using the CV:
- Role title and company or agency.
- Date you applied.
- A link to the posting, if you have one.
I'll check the applications against our agreed target and the conditions above. If you're covered, I'll begin the rewrite within five business days.
Refunds and your rights
The remedy under this guarantee is the rewrite.

This guarantee is additional to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and does not limit them.
